A very popular exterior mod is our SVE hood pin appearance kit. It gives you the appearance of hood pins without having to drill the holes in your hood. They attach with 3M double-sided adhesive. That way, they're easy to install, easy to remove.
Beautiful part about them is they're very versatile. You can stick them wherever you want. Now, we just found where the core support was, made a couple of tape lines on the hood, centered everything up. That way, we have an easy spot to peel and stick.
Now, you want to go ahead, peel the adhesive off, or peel the adhesive backing off. Line up your pin hole, front to back, and stick it down into place. Press it down, and then do the same thing on the other side.
Now, for the lanyards, we enlarge the hole with a quarter-inch drill bit. Again, you can put those wherever you want. We're using that headlight ground screws as the attaching point.
Put that down into place.
You can shut your hood, pull off your marking tape. And engage your pins.
Again, a very easy mod that requires no permanent modification to your car. For more exterior mods, check out LatemodelRestoration.com.
