The Mustang Outer Door Belt Weatherstrip runs horizontally along the top edge of the outside door skin at the base of the Door Window. The Mustang Outer Door Belt Weatherstrip seals the Door Window Opening, acts as a Dew Wipe, & helps stabilize the window as it is raised & lowered. The Mustang Inner Door Belt Weatherstrip runs horizontally along the top edge of the inner Mustang Door Panel & is attached to the Door Panel itself. The purpose of the Mustang Inner Door Belt Weatherstrip is to seal the Door Window Opening & to help stabilize the Door Window as it is raised & lowered.
