Mustang Driveshaft & Driveshaft Parts

Your Mustang Driveshaft plays a major role in transferring all that power to the pavement. It operates at speeds equal to or greater than your Mustang Engine RPM! Is your Mustang Driveshaft, U-Joints & Driveshaft Hardware up to the task? Even if they are, do you have a Driveshaft Safety Loop? A Driveshaft Failure can cause catastrophic damage so make sure you are equipped should the worst happen. Plus, a nice new Mustang Aluminum Driveshaft saves weight & helps stop nasty vibrations!

Your Mustang Driveshaft is kind of the unsung hero of your Mustang's Drivetrain. It makes the connection between your Transmission & Rear End & handles quite a bit of abuse. Unfortunately, the Stock Driveshaft tends to either fail or vibrate once you start turning up the wick on your High Performance Mustang. Luckily companies like Ford Racing (FRPP), BMR, Roush, & JPC recognized this flaw & hi...

Almost as critical as the Mustang Driveshaft itself, Mustang Driveshaft Bolts are responsible for keeping the Driveshaft firmly attached to the Pinion Flange on your Mustang Rear End. Any time you remove a Driveshaft Bolt, inspect it for damage & use thread sealer before re-installing.

This is one of those Mustang Parts that can quite literally save your butt! The Mustang Driveshaft Safety Loop mounts underneath your Mustang & keeps the Driveshaft contained should a failure occur. Without a Dirveshaft Safety Loop, the Driveshaft would be free to terrorize your Mustang, & possibly even you. They are an NHRA required safety item, so don't you think you should have one too?

Sometimes the addition of aftermarket parts on your Mustang requires the use of other aftermarket parts to make them work. Such is the case with the addition of a new Transmission or K-Member. Changes in your Mustang Engine placement or Transmission legth call for the need of a Driveshaft Spacer to get things lined up again.

These are the two parts that keep your Mustang Driveshaft connected to the Transmission & Rear End. The Driveshaft Yoke slides on to the Transmission Output Shaft & allows the Driveshaft to stay engaged with the Transmission throughout the range of Suspension travel. If you have upgraded your Mustang Transmission, it is likely that you'll need a 31 spline Driveshaft Yoke to mate the Driveshaft t...

Your Mustang Driveshaft U-Joints take quite a beating so it's no wonder that they are considered a high wear item. A U-Joint failure can cause all sorts of nastiness, so be sure to inspect yours regularly. Every time you are under your Mustang, check your U-Joints for slack & replace them if needed. No need to skimp on a cheap part when it can cause so much expensive damage!
