The SN-95 Mustang saw plenty of changes during its 10 year reign. The 94-04 Mustang's drivetrain was no different. There were several new transmissions used, T-45, TR-3650 and T-56, that were not used in the previous year models. The SN95 Mustang also saw the introduction of the 8.8" IRS rear end (independent rear suspension) used the in the 1999, 2001, & 2003-2004 SVT Cobra models. The IRS also was used in the 2000 SVT Cobra R model.
