I've been spending time adding performance upgrades to my 2011 Race Red Mustang GT, so I thought it was time to re-address the exterior.
I've you've followed my blogs, you know that I already had the 3D500, GT500 style, spoiler from 3d carbon, Roush 7-bar grille, and California Special front valance. I've also lowered the car's stance with a set of Ford Racing M-5300-P, 1-inch lowering springs.
The install was simple, but the results are dramatic. The rear valance is a factory Ford part, so the fit is perfect. I completed the rear treatment, and added some paint protection, with a set of GT500 mud flaps. The Nitto tires greatly improved responsiveness and traction over the stock Pirelli's, and filled up the fenders nicely. The custom stripe kit (done by a local graphics shop. Sorry, RTR won't release thier kit for resale) breaks up all that red.
Next, I'll be addressing my wheel hop issue, changing my exhaust up a bit, and detailing a complete nitrous installation with dyno and track results. Stay tuned!
