We here at Latemodel Restoration Supply are now proud to be offering a new Custom Tune Program! We have joined forces with Blow-By Racing to offer custom tune files for your 1996-2013 Ford Mustang V6/GT/Cobra and Shleby GT500 that will out perform any out of the box tune available!

 

When you purchase eligible parts from us at Latemodel Restoration Supply, you will be put on the Custom Tune Program. We offer several kits for hand-held tuners, cold air kits and many other parts. We have carefully selected and made kits with certain parts to ensure the best performance gains for your Mustang. Our partners at Blow-By Racing have full knowledge and a huge data base to build your custom tune file based on the information you provide us at the time of purchase. Unfortunately, we cannot offer free tunes if you purchase your parts elsewhere.

 

Now if you are ready to take your Mustang to the next performance level, let's talk about how you can receive your Blow-By Racing Custom tune from Latemodel Restoration Supply. We offer several kits and individual parts that include a custom tune, and if you already have your modifications, we offer a tune sold individually.

 

 

Worried about adding another part to your Mustang that may affect your current custom tune from us? Don't worry; we make free adjustments to current tunes to get you back on the road fast! To get your free tune adjustment, contact our sales team at 254-296-6500. Your new adjusted tune file will be emailed to you within 24-48 hours of receiving your request. We keep all custom tune files in our data base for fast access and quick adjustments or tunes may be purchased separately for $74.99.

 

Once you place an order for your new Blow-By Racing custom tune, tuner kit, or parts kit, an order confirmation will be emailed to you followed by a Custom Tune Information Form email. Click the link located in the Custom Tune Information Form email to go to the Custom Tune Information Form. You will need to fill this profile out very accurately to ensure a perfect tune for your Mustang. Once the form in completed you will be required to submit your profile to us via the web or email.

 

As many of us know, custom tunes for naturally aspirated 1996-2013 Mustangs are becoming popular for better throttle response and more aggressive performance. We will be specializing in tunes for only naturally aspirated 1996-2013 Mustangs and 2007-2013 Shelby GT500s with very mild modifications. Some examples of modifications that we can tune for your 1996-13 Mustang will be cold air intakes, long tube headers, after market cams in most cases(including the Ford Racing Hot Rod Cams) and throttle bodies. After much thought and debate, this will ensure that your tune will be safe for every operation of your Mustang while still providing improvement.

 

As we all know superchargers, turbos, nitrous and large camshafts are becoming a very popular and more affordable modification to add to your Mustang for huge power gains. Often times these upgrades will require the use of larger fuel systems and complex tuning for proper operation. We at Latemodel Restoration Supply will not be offering tunes for forced induction applications that were not installed from the factory. We are also unable to make custom tunes for 1996-04 Mustang with aftermarket cams, mainly due to every engine running different and so many varieties of available cams. We recommend a full on-dyno tuning session for all 96-04 Mustangs with aftermarket cam shafts. We firmly believe that when using after market forced induction applications and most larger cam shaft designs, you the consumer, will benefit more from an actual dyno-tuning session to get the most from your Mustang. This will ensure that you have a safer, more reliable tune that could ever be done through ANY mail-order tune program.

 

If you already own an SCT Tuning Device, you have probably had to update the software and may have become familiar with loading custom email tunes. SCT offers some of the best technical support and customer service in the tuning field. With the purchase of your SCT Tuner, you will receive a copy of the SCT Update/Custom Tune Loading Software along with the USB cable to connect your tuner to your computer.
