I think there are two reasons the front tires are only 4in wide and rear tires wear really fast because of the tire compound. I use my all the time just cant corner as well. Rims are fine to use.

This combo states that it will fit all 79-93 mustangs, but in the description it says it will be a direct fit for 87-93 mustangs only. Will My 85 Mustang run into problems with this combo? And if so what modifications will be needed for it to fit? Last two questions is fitment an issue because of the tires because id rather not modify my mustang, can I just buy the rims separate and order smaller tires? What will be recommended? Sorry for all the questions and thank you!

The only thing you will have an issue with is the quad shock. With this tire size you should be able to flip the quad shock to give you the added clearance you will need. But to bee 100% sure you won't have any rubbing issues, you can remove the quad shocks if you upgrade to rear control arms with urethane bushings.

Dependent upon how long your studs are, you will need WLD-6011416 for stock stud length and WLD-6011426 for longer than factory stud length. Each of those come as a set of 4, so you will need 4 sets for a full set of Weld Wheels.
