I need to reach to the other side of the block for a good grounding bolt...because of my new Timing Cover purchased @ LRS that came without the original ground bolt boss. It was in the picture but not on my TC. Didn't realize it until it was installed or I would have returned it. Kinda puts me in a bind...but it is what it is. How long is the length of the cable, post center to post center?

The cable shown appears to be longer than the cable I removed from my car. My cable is 38 inches. Also, my cable has an inline bracket/ground to attach to the wheel well. The cable pictured has a different configuration. The small wire coupling appears different, too. With some adapting, will this cable fit up to may application?

The length of this cable is 45 3/4'' long and it is still produced by Motorcraft. I'm not sure why your cable would be different, but this should work on your 84 efi car just fine.

I am sorry, i do not have a picture or a pdf to show you the proper routing of the cable. It will go from the battery down to the engine block just like the old one came off the vehicle. This this the Motorcraft replacement.

The pigtail with the eyelet on it bolts to the body near the windshield washer filler neck as a ground. The black plug is the quick disconnect that goes to the computers ground.
