This spacer is excellent, and I'll tell you why. Not only does it increase effective runner length (and torque), but it helps keep the upper intake cooler for additional power. I installed it on my track car and made additional power across the board.
The best part is that I can now remove my valve covers to adjust lash without pulling off the upper intake.
There is one small issue, though. Several of the 12-point nuts in the included hardware kit could only be effectively tightened with a wrench and they're hard to get to. Still, it's a small price to pay for an intake that can stay in place once it's bolted down.

I wouldn't of been able to clear the valve covers without this 1"spacer. Made from a very light weight but study material, fit great and came with two gaskets and longer studs, everything you'll need to make it work. Not sure if the intake will kiss the hood, but we'll see :)
