Vince, I would suggest upgrading the throttle body and mass air as well as the injectors. A 70mm throttle body and 76mm mass air with 24lb injectors would be a great compliment to this intake and make around 30-40hp over a stock 225hp 89-93 5.0. You did not mention what year Mustang you were working on and if you had any other mods such as cold air or aftermarket cylinder heads.

Both the black street burner version as well as this one require a 75mm throttle body because that is the size of the opening on the intake. The only difference between this one and the black one is color.

I have a 1000 mile rebuilt 94 gt 302, 24lbs injectors, 70mm throttle body, comp cams extreme energy stage 2 cam (operating range advertised at 1,600-5,600 rpms) along with a 3.73 rear gear, and a mild 75hp wet shot nitrous kit along with other mild things like upgraded cooling system, CAI, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, etc... Stock but built heads with comp cams valve springs and 3 angle valve job. What intake manifold and what rpm range intake would work well with my build?
