Stainless Steel Caliper Sleeves
The Maximum Motorsports stainless steel brake caliper sleeves replace the factory rubber bushings. The rubber bushings let the calipers move during braking, preventing the pad from contacting the rotor surface squarely. This movement reduces your brakes' effectiveness and leads to tapered pad wear. These caliper sleeves also fit the 73mm SVO calipers sold with our SVO kit.

I had these put on my 89 lx 5.0 by a professional break shop and the only thing upgraded is the calipers and the disk fronts are the same size as the factory.These calipers looked shitty when I opend the box and they looked like they came off a used chevy astro van. and I can deal with that.But they rusted nasty right away along with the oversize brake fluid reservoir and it looks really bad being all rusted.Big note!! you better powder coat or paint them first before putting them on.There is nothing much of stainless steal as they claim.As far as stopping power that has not improved much and I am very disappointed...the breaking is spungy and they were bleeded 3 times but weak in the stopping and its really no better then factory.Really sucks.Ill have pics posted soon.Pros that everything went on easy enough without much effort.
Yes, the discs are the same size, but are StopTech slotted units. The Calipers are large piston SVO units for increased clamping force. The caliper bushings are stainless as well as the braided stainless brake hoses, as advertised. All in all, this is a quality bolt on brake upgrade and it does indeed sound like there is still air in your system and additional bleeding is required.
