The front SVE wheels, known as front runners, are skinnier than regular wheels to keep your front end as light as possible. The rear wheels are offered in 8" and 10" to mount wider tires, drag radials or slicks for more traction. This allows you to launch harder and improve your ET's at the track.

Jmac: If you have a straight-line oriented Mustang, then you need a set of our SVE drag wheels. The one-piece cast aluminum construction allows for less rotational and unsprung weight over most street wheels, and the 5 on 4 and 1/2 inch bolt pattern accepts OE-type acorn lug nuts. Video: Installing SVE Drag Wheels on a Fox Body Mustang
Published on 2013-09-12
Watch as we install a set of 15x10 SVE Drag Wheels on this Fox Body Mustang. See what modifications are needed for clearance with 275/50/15 tires. The perfect set up for a weekend of drag racing in your Stang!!
We're going to show you what it takes to put a set of SVE drag wheels on your '87 to '93 Fox Mustang. First thing you'll need to do is convert to five lug using something like our Fox style rotor and drum five lug conversion kit, available at latemodelrestoration.com.
The 15 inch wheels will bolt right on over the Fox style rotor conversion, along with the SN95 '94 to '04 V6 and GT brakes. If you're running SN95 Cobra brakes, you will need 17 inch front wheels.
To fit a 15 x 10 with a 275 50 15 tire on the back of your Fox, you will absolutely have to remove the quad shock. Then you can mount the wheel up and lower the car down to ride height, and check the inner wheel well for clearance. Every car is a little different, and on ours, we did have to massage the front inside of the wheel well.
The outer fender lip will need to be rolled. There's several different ways to do this. Pick your poison. Just be sure not to mess up your paint.
Bolt your wheels up, and enjoy the aggressive look that set of SVE drag wheels will give your Fox Mustang.
I recently just bought these front rims for my 700 RWHP 2011 Mustang GT. After the past few months I was doing a lot of debating on what rim I should go with. I had looked at just about every type of drag rim you could find, Weld, Race star, Bogart, etc. And after doing some research and price comparison I found that these SVE drag rims are the best out there for the price. They are truly the best bang for your buck. After I purchased these it only took a few buisness days to come in the mail. The rims came nicely packaged and once I got them out of the box I was shocked on how good they looked and how light weight the rims where. The finish was perfect. No spots or flaws at all. I am extremely impressed on how good of quality these rims are. I paired these rims with M&H Racemasters and got them put on the stang and the fitment was great. Drive quality is great, no balance issues or noises at all. Another plus to these rims are the factory lug nuts can be used witch made me happy. So overall these are the best bang for your buck. I highly recommend getting these. Thanks Latemodel restoration for the excellent customer service and fast shipping. Keep up the great work!!!

The wheel size is the diameter of the wheel, in inches, not counting the tire.
Modern tires in North America have several other measurements associated with their size.
A tire designated as a "225/70R14" denotes a tire with the following dimensions: width of tread: 225 mm; ratio of tire height to width: 70 percent; rim diameter: 14".
Therefore a 185/70R14 has the same rim diameter and aspect ratio, but a smaller overall diameter and narrower tread face than the 225/70R14.
The easiest way to measure backspace is to lay the wheel face down onto the ground so the backside of the wheel is facing up.
Take a straight edge and lay it diagonally across the inboard flange of the wheel. Take a tape measure and measure the distance from where the straight edge contacts the inboard flange to the hub mounting pad of the wheel. This measurement is the backspace.
The photo below shows three wheels with 2", 3", & 4" backspace.
Wheel Bolt Circle
The bolt pattern or bolt circle is the diameter of an imaginary circle formed by the centers of the wheel lugs. Bolt patterns can be 4, 5, 6, or 8 lug holes. A bolt circle of 4x100 would indicate a 4 lug pattern on a circle with a diameter of 100mm.
The diagram indicates the proper measuring methods. 6 lug wheels are measured like the 4 lug wheels.
The offset, measured in millimeters, can be negative or positive, and is the distance from the hub-mounting surface to the rim's true centerline. A positive offset means the hub-mounting surface is closer to the outside edge of the wheel; a negative offset means the hub-mounting surface is closer to the inside edge of the wheel. Offset affects the scrub radius of the steering and it is advisable to stay within the limits allowed by the vehicle manufacturer. If tires are fitted which are significantly wider than those specified by the manufacturer, a compromise may have to be adopted whereby a wheel with less offset is used to prevent the tire rubbing on the suspension.
Wheel Lug Pattern
Wheel lugs or bolt pattern is merely the number of bolts or lugs on the wheel. As the bolts will be evenly spaced, the number determines the bolt pattern. For example, most U.S. passenger cars have 5 bolts while compact models sometimes have only 4 and pick-up trucks can have as many as 6 or 8.
