Increased Chassis Stiffening
This Stiffler's lower chassis brace helps increase the strength and stiffness of the front of the chassis area and factory K-member. By adding this chassis brace, you can maintain correct front suspension geometry while under load by minimizing flexing. This helps give your SN-95 or New Edge Mustang tighter steering response, and more predictable handing under cornering and braking. Includes all necessary installation hardware.

Made from 1x0.83 tubing, this brace maximizes stiffness and strength while keeping your front end light weight. It is manufactured using CAD software and real world test data to give your a perfect fit. This brace is finished off with an industrial grade power coat for a long lasting finish.
The SN95 Stiffler K-Member brace is a very well made product and installation was straight forward. Everything you need except for the tools was included with clear instructions that had pictures. Total installation time for me was about an hour but this was because I had to manipulate the brace with a ratchet strap to ensure it was properly aligned to be bolted in. This brace requires drilling your k-member to install the forward mounting bolts and there are a lot of angles that can get misaligned when the unibody is on jack stands.
Once it was bolted and torqued down, however, I felt the difference in chassis flex pulling it out of the garage. It makes the car feel even more stable. I have a lowered, fully polyurethane race setup for Autocross and even still this brace made a difference. Coupled with subframe connectors, the car handles on rails. Direction changes are immediate (tires pending, of course) and the car transfers weight with little to no roll - again this brace made a big difference!
I would highly recommend this part for SN95 chassis owners. The impact for the price is ridiculous. Just make sure you take your time to line it all up!
*Note: if you have a lowered car like me, this brace extends very low to the ground. Not that I've hit it yet, but I have about 2" of clearance between the brace and the ground. It is definitely low!
