Some Low RPM Chatter During Street Driving Take Off
What's in the Box
(1)Powergrip HD Pressure Plate
(1) 300/900 Series Clutch Disc
The 98955HD RAM Powergrip HD Clutch for the 2011-14 5.0L Mustang is a true "strip/street" competition clutch system that can handle the rigors of weekend racing and spirited street driving. It is cabable of controlling torque loads up to 650lb-ft & is even recommended for lower power cars that frequent the track on sticky tires.
This RAM Powergrip HD 2011-14 Mustang Clutch features a high clamp load pressure plate designed to maximize holding power without seriously degrading pedal effort & feel. The 8-spring hub disc is equipped with RAM POLYCOIL damper springs encapsulated in polyurethane. This spring can handle three times the shock load of just a normal coil spring, and is standard in all RAM Powergrip discs. The friction facing is 900 series sintered iron. Sintered iron provides a degree of slippage on vehicle launch to prevent the violent and uncontrollable engagement characteristics of paddle type metallic discs.
This firm consistent engagement is easy to control, although some chatter is likely on engagement with rear gearing less than 3.73 in street applications.
This Mustang Clutch is compatible with the factory Hydraulic Release Bearing.
A Billet Flywheel is highly recommended for this clutch kit.

LMR is a great company with great products. I recently purchased the Gibson Catback exhaust for my 2015 Mustang Ecoboost and I love it. Easy to install, great looking tips, and best of all almost half the price than competitors systems. My main reason I decided to go with Gibson was because off the reputation and because I think after searching all the exhaust systems, their exhaust system is probably the best sounding one. No raspyNess what so ever you expect from a 4 cylinder exhaust system. It's a nice low, deep tone.
