The 90-2220 RAM RTrack Dual for 1996-2010 Mustang 4.6L & 2007-2013 GT500 is modeled after their highly successful drag racing clutches used in high horsepower Pro Stock and Pro Modified applications. The major difference between the 90-2220 Rtrack Mustang Clutch and others on the market is the floater drive system. The RTrack Dual uses a stand driven floater plate, which provides higher torque capacity and negative load capacity for Mustangs that see more use at the track.
It uses a 2400 pound clamp load pressure plate for great holding power without excessive pedal effort, and features 300 series sprung hub top disc and solid hub bottom disc for smooth engagement. All this while maintaining a torque capacity in excess of 1000lb-ft! Expect some floater plate noise at idle with this unit’s drive system. If your 1996-2010 4.6L Mustang or 2007-2012 GT500 needs the ultimate in holding power and durability for street or strip, the RTrack Dual is for you!
For 1996-2004, an adjustable clutch fork pivot stud is required.
For 2005-2010 GT & 2007-2013 GT500, this clutch requires the use of the RAM 78175 hydraulic release bearing.
Does not include release bearing or alignment tool.
