Description
The RAM HDX Clutch sets are the perfect performance upgrade for your daily driver/hot rod Mustang 5.0L or 4.6L. The RAM HDX Pressure Plate features an increased clamp load of 2500lb. (compared to the stock pressure plate at 2000lb clamp load) while maintaining a great pedal feel. The RAM HDX Clutch Disc is faced with the 300 series friction material on both sides & features a 5 spring center hub for excellent shock absorption. The 300 series material consists of steel backed organic facing material that greatly increases rotational strength.
Use RAM HDX Clutch Sets for 5.0L or 4.6L Mustangs with bolt on mods and mild power enhancements. This Clutch is perfect for street/strip applications but is not recommended for use with slicks. The clutch set includes a 10.5" clutch disk & pressure plate, a release bearing, & an alignment tool. The RAM-88794HD fits the following Mustangs: 1986-1987-1988-1989-1990-1991-1992-1993-1994-1995 Mustang 5.0L 1996-1997-1998-1999-2000 Mustang GT 4.6L 2V 1996-1997-1998 Mustang Cobra 4.6L 4V The RAM-88794HD will also fit 1982-1983-1984-1985 Mustang 5.0L if a 10.5" Flywheel is used.
