Polyurethane Transmission Mounts
Prothane manufactures transmission mount for most all latemodel Mustangs. This specific mount is designed for T-45 and Tremec 3650 transmissions. Prothane transmission mounts are designed to limit unwanted movement and control torque thereby putting more power to the wheels and also reducing the chance of breakage.

Fits nice, I still have a lot of vibration but I still need to change our my motor mounts. Make sure to tighten up the two bolts that are pre-installed on the crossmember. They were really loose when I received the part. You are going to reuse the six screws that bolted the OEM mount to the transmission. And you don't have a place to hang the O2 harnesses on the new crossmember (the OEM crossmember has a slot you push in a plastic tab to hang the O2 harness) so I just zip tied it on the new crossmember. Took the old one out, had the new one installed inside 20 mins. Took all the vibration out of the shift handle.
Lifted or lowered suspensions, increases in horsepower, plus-size wheels and tires can subject traditional rubber suspension bushings to forces beyond their limits. Control arms, strut arms, leaf springs, body mounts, motor mounts, transmission mounts, sway bars and shocks all control movement and maintain alignment but the rubber bushings they use are designed for more "middle of the road" use. Rubber also deteriorates over time, further reducing control. This contributes to premature component failure, a "spongy" ride and less than ideal performance handling. Urethane bushings can correct these conditions, and improve drivability in your Mustang or Ford Lightning.
