Prothane 1 1/8" Front Sway Bar Bushings
Urethane sway bar mount bushings deflect less for better handling. Urethane resists oil and temperature changes for longer life. Sold in pairs
Polyurethane is an ideal material for performance suspension bushings, motor and transmission mounts. Don't get us wrong, Mustang rubber suspension bushings and mounts are a proven compromise. However, additional horsepower, plus size tires, lowered canyon carving street setups all mix with normal atmospheric conditions and under car grit and grime to stress rubber bushings beyond design limits.
Polyurethane bushings are firm enough to control movement and maintain alignment in sway bars, control arms, and other stressed suspension components without the harshness or resonance associated with solid metal suspension bushings. We believe that after experiencing the precise steering, road feedback and the added firmness PROTHANE polyurethane bushings offer, you'll never go back to rubber bushings.
All sway bar mount bushing applications are suggested. To Verify proper fit, you must measure your sway bar before ordering! This can be accomplished by using a dial caliper or by tightening an adjustable "crescent" wrench on the sway bay and using a measuring tape/ruler to measure the distance between the jaws of the wrench.

Sway Bar Guide
Some of the most common questions asked when it comes to Stang suspension are the Mustang sway bar sizes. This chart gives you the stock Mustang sway bar sizes to assist you in buying the correct replacement bushings or deciding on an upgraded bar. This guide shows you Fox Body, SN-95, New Edge, S19... more
Lifted or lowered suspensions, increases in horsepower, plus-size wheels and tires can subject traditional rubber suspension bushings to forces beyond their limits. Control arms, strut arms, leaf springs, body mounts, motor mounts, transmission mounts, sway bars and shocks all control movement and maintain alignment but the rubber bushings they use are designed for more "middle of the road" use. Rubber also deteriorates over time, further reducing control. This contributes to premature component failure, a "spongy" ride and less than ideal performance handling. Urethane bushings can correct these conditions, and improve drivability in your Mustang or Ford Lightning.
As a deployed service member, there are not many avenues of contacting companies back home conveniently. Between the time difference and use of wifi or morale phones, it can be challenging. Luckily the team at LateModel Restoration emailed me back quickly and gave me everything that I needed for a smoothe purchase, and a few more that followed. They were quick in reply and quick to help me out and I have my parts on the way to my home now because of it. I will be shopping here primarily and I recommend it highly to fellow Mustang folks.
