  Horrible fit

It requires trimming on hatchbacks also does not have enough room to secure gauges from the back. The supplied mounting hardware to the pillar doesn't really hold the pod. Save your money on this one.

  Good Fit

Image uploaded by Ryan W. Bought this to mount my A/F and Boost gauge. It is good quality ABS plastic. You can do away with the 4 mounting plugs it comes with. Overlay this pillar pod with the stock A-pillar and drill the top most hole in the new pillar pod. Use the same stock screw and this will keep both pillars nice and rigid. Remember, this does NOT replace the stock a-pillar, just sits on top of it. You will have to drill a nice size hole in the stock a-pillar to run the wires through. It says it provides adequate room for wires to be run, but not really. All in all, this puppy does the job.

  Replace the stock A-pillar

The manufacturer suggests you install over the existing A-pillar by drilling 4 holes through both the pod gauge and A-pillar. Then if there isn't enough room for your wires between the two(there isn't), then to drill/cut large holes in factory A-pillar. This pretty much destroys factory A-pillar and your trim along the forward and side roofline will not fit. I replaced the A-pillar with this full length gauge pod and just drilled and sunk three holes and used factory screws. It fits better and you get the piece of mind you can always replace with the factory part if you remove the gauges.
