Manny of the South Texas Mustang Club here... I have a 1992 GT convertible (pretty much stock) and I'm thinking about trying this part to help stiffen the chassis. Is this a direct bolt-on that won't have any clearance issues with the factory convertible bracing? Thanks in advance.

Manny, I have not personally installed one of these 4 point braces, but Maximum Motorsports states that it DOES clear the stock X-brace on 1983-93 convertibles. Note the following as well:
If you have an automatic, you may have to reroute the cooler lines slightly to install this brace.
Does not clear long-tube headers
Clears stock catalytic converters
