Adjustable Ride Height
This 1979-2004 Mustang coil over conversion kit from Maximum Motorsports allows you to manually adjust your ride height for improved ride quality. This kit does not come with springs but allows you to adjust spring rates varying from very soft to very stiff. Installing a coil over kit can improve handing by reducing body roll and quickening steering response. With the included adjustment tool, you can easily make adjustments to your ride height. Will only fit Koni, Tokico, and Strange struts.
Front bump and droop travel can be optimized for your Mustang by adjusting the placement of the strut shaft locating spacers between the upper spring perch and the camber plate. Needle thrust bearing above the upper spring perch lowers friction, reducing steering effort. O-rings seal the needle bearings to prevent contamination. Threads are hard-anodized for longevity and easier adjustment of the spring perch. Struts require a slight modification for installation. Includes an assortment of spacers to ensure proper clearance under the strut tower. Lower spring perch has Nylon-tipped stainless steel setscrews to prevent unwanted rotation. Includes bumpstops.
Required For Installation
- Quality camber plates with spherical bearings
- Koni, Tokico, and Strange Struts
- Coil-Over Springs
These are a lot better than other brands. Mainly because the sleeve fits most struts correctly. koni tokico kyb and I think every other brand except bilstein has a diameter that is .005" smaller than the sleeve. 2.200" if i remember correctly. I would recommend using fox struts on an sn95 because they are an inch shorter and will let a lower car ride in the correct part of the shocks stroke. I used 325lb springs and kyb gr2 shocks. The shocks don't have enough rebound dampening but still ride better than with the eibach pro springs. The car turns insanely good with these mainly because the springs are now stiff enough. With some good struts my car will ride better than stock on suspension that is twice as stiff. If you want to corner like a bmw, s2000, or Porsche coil overs are one of the big mods that will help get you there and MM IS the way to go. LMR is a great company with great products. I recently purchased the Gibson Catback exhaust for my 2015 Mustang Ecoboost and I love it. Easy to install, great looking tips, and best of all almost half the price than competitors systems. My main reason I decided to go with Gibson was because off the reputation and because I think after searching all the exhaust systems, their exhaust system is probably the best sounding one. No raspyNess what so ever you expect from a 4 cylinder exhaust system. It's a nice low, deep tone.
