High Quality Components
The M-FR1-MGTB Kit includes a 2011-2014 Mustang GT High Flow K&N / Ford Racing Air Filter, FRPP Performance Oil Filter CM-6731-FL820, & the GT500 style Muffler Kit M-5230-MGTCA1 (50 State legal).
The 2011-2014 Power Pack requires Premium (91 octane or higher) fuel only. Due to multiple powertrain calibrations, online registration is required to receive ProCal calibration tool after purchase. Ford Racing does not ship ProCal tools directly overseas. Customers must make special arrangements with their Ford Racing Distributor. Powertrain calibrations are developed and supported for U.S. and Canadian vehicles only.
50 State Legal
Unlike our competitors, all Ford Racing Power Upgrade Packages are 50 state emissions legal and eligible for limited warranty when installed by a Ford or Lincoln-Mercury Dealer. Federal and state laws prohibit any person from installing aftermarket add-on or modified parts prior to the sale of a new motor vehicle.
The Ford Racing ProCal tool with performance calibration will not be in the box. All the proper paper work will come with the kit. Once you fill it out, Ford Racing will ship you the ProCal. This usually takes 1-2 days.

If you own to 2011 to 2014 Mustang GT and desire a factory Ford fit, finish, and durability with an aftermarket exhaust tone, then you need a set of Ford Racing M-5230-MGTCA-1 axleback mufflers. This axleback was factory equipment on 2011 and '12, Shelby GT500s, and according to our customer feedback, this is the axleback that should have come on '11 to '14 Mustang GTs from the factory.

This calibration is perfect to keep warranty in tact. The tune itself will not make a huge difference power wise, but the responsiveness is clearly improved. Make sure you have a Ford dealer install the tune and you will be golden. The snappy throttle you will receive will put a smile on your face.
The axle-backs are amazing. It gives the Coyote 5.0 the perfect growl without any obnoxious drones or extremely loud popping other axle backs seem to produce. I always get complements for the snarl my GT makes.

So I just installed the Ford Racing Power Pack a couple days ago and wanted to share my thoughts for others considering buying it. The pack includes a set of GT500 axel back exhaust, the Ford ProCal Tuner, a K&N air filter and a Ford Racing Oil Filter. Bought it off of Late Model Restoration for 599. The axel backs took about 2 hours with a buddy of mine and I wouldn't suggest doing it without one. I needed an extra hand a few times especially holding them in certain positions to take out. The sound upon starting is AMAZING! It does quit down a bit after a few but you can still hear it rumbling. Sounds great when you go to rev the engine too. Also, the big ass stainless steal tips really make the rear end look aggressive and make the stock ones look like they came off a toyota corolla. The new ones will literally swallow the old ones as I put them over the old ones to see. I love them. I read a lot of people wish they came with rolled tips like stock but I disagree. I think they look perfect. No drone and when you want to be heard you definitely can especially on WOT.
Next, you get a piece of paper to register your tuner with Ford Racing when the kit arrives. I registered my ProCal tune online and Ford Racing had it on my doorstep the next mourning. You can get a 75 dollar refund if you send it back when you're done. I decided to keep it. I followed the instructions and had no issues. I ended up doing it myself as all the dealerships in the New Orleans area are clueless and had no idea what I was talking about when I called to get prices. One said they don't do any tunes even though it is made by Ford. Having a dealer install only warranties an issue for 3yr/36k miles if the tune was proven the cause of the problem which is highly unlikely according to Ford Racing. I have a 7yr extended warranty that it won't effect unless the tune was the cause of the problem. So whether you do it or them the tune is only for 3 years, everything else stays the same. It's made by Ford and I trust it completely. It took about 20 mins for it to upload and do its business. As soon as it was done I took her for a spin and WOW did this wake her up. The car feels ready to go all the time now. Before it always seemed laid back and I hated the delay in throttle response. Now she's a beast and I feel like this tune is a must for any owner. I can definitely notice the extra torque. Not to mention my miles to empty jumped from 75 before tune to 110 after. No pinging issues that I read about prior to purchase but the Manuel tells you how to fix this if it happens. We have 93 octane around here which is recommended but 91 will suffice they say if you don't in your area. This should have been the factory tune no question. I highly recommend this kit to anyone considering buying it as the car has really been woken up and you'll even get better MPG in the process, can't beat it!

I don't do many product reviews, but I feel I must in this case. I have a 2014 Mustang GT MT premium with 3.55 gears. Currently there is 1600 miles on the clock. First off, I love the car. I am an older dude but have been a car guy my whole life. I have raced a couple of fox body mustangs in the 1/4 mile, however, I get most of my enjoyment from street driving. I debated on getting this upgrade as it does reduce the warranty from a 5 year to a 3 year, and it is through Ford Racing instead of Ford Manufacturing. But I bought it anyway and had a Ford Dealer do the complete install. First off, the axle back mufflers are awesome. Probably the best combination of sound/volume as any muffler I have heard. These ARE the mufflers to get, bar none. I do not like most "loud" mufflers like Roush because to me they sound like a redneck pick-up truck. The mufflers in this kit truly make the car sound like a race car at any throttle but are quiet at idle and cruising. Now the Tune. It's not going to beat super charged or race tuned mustangs and, quite frankly I was skeptical is would do anything at all. But...... this tune rocks for the street, Most of the power increase is low and you definitely can feel it. It has become much easier to get sideways up to about 40 mph.It now sounds and feels like a race car. I also put in a FRPP shifter at the same time I installed the performance pack. All in all, I am very, very happy with this kit. Don't let Bama or other tuners disuade from this kit. It's not a hardcore race tune, but if you want warranty coverage and solid street tune, get this now!!
