I've been told the intake will fit with the airaid CAI, but i also read that there were compatibility issues. Will the manifold fit the airaid CAI? Additionally, what is meant by a "custom tune" and does the type of tuner device matter (i have a diablosport tuner)?

I have the Airraid Race CAI, no issues. You will have to modify the coupler because it isn't a direct fit, lke the C&L or JLT. "Custom tune" means you can't use the canned tunes included with a tuner. I'm not sure if the Diablosport has them, but the SCT comes with pre-written tunes. You have to have LMR or a dealer of your choice, do a custom written tune for the Boss IM. LMR did my tunes and they have been great. Enjoy your new intake, it is worth it.

I ended up going with the BBK 85mm because the tuners were having sone issues programming for the 90mm one. The Boss strut tower brace from CJ pony parts works great.

You can use your stock throttle body when installing a Boss 302 Manifold. However, to maximize your performance gains, a larger throttle body and custom tune is recommended.
