If your car still has its original engine, it is already a roller lifter car and these would be considered factory replacements for it. No conversions are needed.

These hydraulic roller lifters will not fit your Lightning. Ford Lightnings do not come equipped with a roller cam. Your flat tappet cam requires flat tappet lifters. Always replace the flat tappet lifters and the cam at the same time, as your flat tappet lifters and cam have a matching wear pattern. Replacing flat tappet lifters and/or cam at different times can result in lifter or cam failure. Roller tappet conversions are available if you're looking to upgrade to a roller cam and lifters.

I was wanting to know if I needed to replace my lifters when I get change from stock 93 cylinder heads to gt40 F3ZE heads. I am getting hardened pushrods, TFS spring upgrade kit, crane 1.7 rocker arms. I will be staying with the stock cam. I also have a vortech v3sci putting out eight pounds of boost installed if that affects any stress on the lifters. Thanks
