The all new Mustang Coyote motor is here! Ford Racing's M-6007-M50 Coyote crate engine is perfect for your American muscle car! Now you can harness all of the power of the new 2011+ Coyote Mustangs in your very own build. This 302ci motor packs a ground pounding 420+ horsepower @ 6500 rpm and 390 ft.-lb.+ of torque @ 4250 rpm, you are looking at the next revolution of Mustang engine swaps!
This 5.0 Coyote motor has an 11.0:1 compression ratio and lightweight aluminum cylinder block featuring cross-bolted main bearing caps and thick main bearing bulkheads for bottom-end strength! Four valve cylinder heads for optimized performance with the latest technology to back their design. Piston-cooling jets, optimized oil drain back and windage control improve high-rpm performance in any type of racing application! A forged steel crankshaft, forged steel connecting rods, and hypereutectic aluminum pistons make up the internals ready for high horsepower applications.
With its tuned composite intake manifold, the new Coyote motor provides efficient air delivery and weight savings for more power and strength where it counts. The 80MM single bore throttle body brings in more air making more power for your engine swap Mustang or street-rod. Weighting in a 444 LBS, this motor can be used for a variety of swaps without being over bearing to suspensions systems.
Ford Racing Control Pack
Take the complexity and mystery out of wiring a late model 5.0L 4V engine! This crate engine control pack (M-6017-A504V) is designed to run the M-6007-M50 5.0L 4-Valve crate engine. Includes PCM with Ford Racing calibration.
Other Features Include:
- Includes Electronic Throttle Control accelerator pedal eliminates throttle cable routing problems
- Unique controls pack harness replaces stock body harness and is designed for streetrod installation
- Features OBD-II diagnostic port to assist in vehicle calibration upload and problem diagnosis
- Includes unique downsized power distribution module, Air box, inlet tube, MAF sensor with bolts, and EGO sensors
- PCM with Ford Racing calibration requires return type fuel system, will not work with returnless fuel system
- Installation of this PCM in a 2011 Mustang GT will result in a no-start condition. See "Tip sheets" for more tech tips about E.F.I.
- Use of an electronically controlled Automatic transmission will require the use of an additional transmission controller, not included. We reccommend a Baumannator TCS for most applications.
If you're on the fence whether to do this swap or not...do it. Overall the project was around $10k-13k. It was easy (as far as engine swaps go) no fabricating required (other than a few little brackets) but I did this in my garage with ordinary tools. no lifts, no shop. Car runs and drives like a new mustang, and power...you'll have more than enough. LRS has 80% of the things you will need for the swap. i know im forgeting and few minor things, but here's a list of what I used: 1 coyote crate and control pack 2 UPR k memeber and coil over kit (4.6) 3 power the the hour street acc S belt kit (keeps stock location of a/c, alt and PS pump on the 4.6) 4 BBK ceramic coated headers and off road xpipe (will require custom cat back) 5 division X return style fuel hat, aeromotive regulator, fuel rail adapter (I used stock steel lines) 6 I used the t45 trans that was in the car (bolted right up, no mods) 7 swap pedal bracket (a must) 8 battery relocation kit to trunk 9 lots of hose to re plumb the cooling (bottom hose out of kit wont work) 10 extra wires to re wire the electroncis 11 after market coolant overlfow (stock one will not fit) 12 after market intake (some have got the stock one to fit, but I couldn't)
