Specifically Designed To Release Factory Locks On Ford Radios
What's in the Box
(2) U-Shaped Release Tools
Have you ever looked at a Factory Ford radio and wondered how to take it out? Here's the answer. This is a Specialty tool used to remove factory Ford stereo equipment. It has specially designed tabs to slide in beside the radio and release the 4 locking tabs that hold it in place. With all 4 tabs released, the head unit slides right out. It's as easy as that.
Bought a 2000 mustang and radio did not work. Had heard you could use a bent coat hanger to remove it? Saw the U tools advertised and figured that it won't be the only time I would need to do this so ordered these and got them in a couple of days. They work great.
As a deployed service member, there are not many avenues of contacting companies back home conveniently. Between the time difference and use of wifi or morale phones, it can be challenging. Luckily the team at LateModel Restoration emailed me back quickly and gave me everything that I needed for a smoothe purchase, and a few more that followed. They were quick in reply and quick to help me out and I have my parts on the way to my home now because of it. I will be shopping here primarily and I recommend it highly to fellow Mustang folks.
