Now you can improve weight transfer and get quicker E.T. & 60 ft. times with this 2005-2014 Mustang drag strut and shock kit from Lakewood industries!
Lakewood has combined the latest technology with their years of drag racing experience to produce this 2005-2014 Mustang suspension kit which greatly improves performance on the strip without sacrificing your ride quality.
The 70/30 front drag struts provide the correct weight transfer on the initial launch, then bring the front-end down quickly for aerodynamic purposes. The 50/50 rear drag shocks provide the correct weight transfer on the initial launch, then keeps the weight planted in the rear for traction purposes. This transfer will result in lower ETs, and keeps the rear-end loaded for maximum traction.
I loved them! The ride perfect on the streets and I really feel the difference when it makes the car squat and lifts the front end! Car hooks much better with these! Haven't tried them on the track yet but I'm sure they well feel even better.
When it comes to drag racing suspension for your Mustang, Lakewood is one of the biggest names in the business. LMR is a great company with great products. I recently purchased the Gibson Catback exhaust for my 2015 Mustang Ecoboost and I love it. Easy to install, great looking tips, and best of all almost half the price than competitors systems. My main reason I decided to go with Gibson was because off the reputation and because I think after searching all the exhaust systems, their exhaust system is probably the best sounding one. No raspyNess what so ever you expect from a 4 cylinder exhaust system. It's a nice low, deep tone.
