No sir, a different fuse is not required for this fuel pump. It is a direct fit upgrade. The only thing that needs to be done is to reset the KAM by either using a handheld tuner or by disconnecting the battery for 30-45 minutes. This is done to clear the PCM memory and allow the computer to relearn the voltage curves needed for the new pump.

For the normal Bolt on supercharger or blower kit on a stock motor you should be fine with this pump as long as you have all of the supporting modifications to go with it like Injectors proper tune etc. If you are talking about built motor with large boost numbers then you would want to step up to a complete new fuel system designed around your specific build.
