(1)Inertia Shut-off Switch
In 1983, Ford started installing a useful safety feature in their Fuel Injected passenger vehicles. The Fuel Shut off inertia switch shuts off power to the fuel pump in the event of a rear-end collision or other major accident. It's purpose is to keep the pump from running, so in case of fire, fuel does not continue to flow from the tank. The switch can easily be re-set to restore proper function of the pump.
I'm very happy that I was able to happen upon your company. I was looking for a fuel inertia switch for my 93 4 cyl 2.3L LX. All my parts in the car that have been replaced have been genuine ford parts. I found it here at a price that I think is fair and the service and speed of delivery was excellent. 5 star rating. The part was exactly what I was looking for. Hard to find parts for the 4cyl 2.3 L LX. your co has a good selection. Ref Order # 1055752 Thanks Again
