Seat Foam Still OK?
If you are in the market for new seat upholstery for your Mustang, more than likely, you also need to invest in new some new Mustang seat foam. Over time the seat foam in your Mustang will deteriorate, to reveal the seat frame below. Not only is this very uncomfortable to sit on, but can also cause painful lower back pain. Our seat foam is sold individually so there is no need to purchase seat foam for the passenger side if it's still in good shape. Do your back a favor and check into a fresh set of seat foam today!
Don't get me wrong, these seat covers appear to be made of high quality material, but by no means does the tweed fabric resemble the factory black color that came in the foxbody. The seat covers fit a little loose, but it does have the correct stitching and pattern of the original seat. I say that the 1 customer photo and the generic 5.0 resto product photo are deceiving because they make the tweed coloring appear to be an exact factory match, when the tweed covering of these seat covers is a single tone dark black where as the factory seat covers are a multi tone light black.
If you are restoring a 1993 cobra like me and trying to make the car as "correct" as possible, then I wouldn't recommend them. However, if you don't care that the seat coloring is off then I would recommend them, as the material does appear to be quality.
We apologize that you are unhappy with the seat material. Please expect a phone call shortly from a customer service representative on the issue.

Good Quality Overall
Chris G. on
Overall this product is a great replacement choice if your not going for the OEM exact appearance. Color is darker than original which was perfect for me. Fabric seems to be high quality. Please note that the rear seat sides will not have vinyl on the edges with this kit. They will now be fabric with the new set. Took an entire day to complete the whole interior. The only complaint I have is the stitching was separating in a few places prior to installing along with a couple of tears in some unnoticeable spots. Maybe the manufacturer has a crappy quality control department. Was kind of disappointed about it since everything else I have purchased from LMR (which is a few thousands dollars worth) has been in perfect condition without any defects.
Yes, I would recommend this item to a friend!
