I have looking for this instrument cluster before, and still doing the same question. How is possible to connect the speed cable from the transmission to this cluster? I was reading in the manual given from the supplier and it says that I have to connect the speed sensor cable from the ECU, but the original speedometer is mechanical, Does exist a mechanical version for this cluster? or I have to use some kind of adapter.

You no longer need your mechanical speedometer cable. The digital instrument cluster kit comes with an electronic adaptor that fits exactly where your old mechanical speedometer connected into your transmission. The electronic adaptor comes with a cable that connects to the ECU. The ECU processes the signal and displays your speed on the instrument cluster.
