Replace Your Malfunctioning Fuel Pump
This 2001-2004 Mustang 130LPH fuel pump is perfect for fixing a malfunctioning or burnt up fuel pump in your New Edge Mustang. Fuel pumps can start going out over time due to overheating when fuel levels get low. If your car won't start and you don't hear the fuel pump priming, it may be time to replace yours. If your Mustang is stock or mildly modified, this direct replacement 130LPH fuel pump is perfect for you! Featuring a bolt in design and factory connections, installation is quick and easy.
Due to the dielectric properties of Alcohol fuel like E85, fuel pump service life may be significantly reduced and filter
maintenance significantly increased.
Works good but the float arm is shipped un-attached. It goes on easy but the pivot arm it's snapped into also comes off easy. So, if you're doing the work in limited space (i.e. you're not taking the tank all the way out) the arm assy can get knocked off while trying to get it lined up and the level sensor contact points can get bent out of place. Just re-connect the arm and double check the 2 contact balls on the pivot arm. So far so good, one day after installed, cranked up on first try.
Yes, I would recommend this item to a friend!

Good fuel pump
I used this fuel pump to replace the bad one in my 2001 mustang gt. It fit fine and came with all the wiring and gasketd that I needed to perform the job. I was able to swap the pump by just lowering the fuel tank but leaving it attached at the filler neck. Only trouble I had was getting the new pump back in the tank because the float attachment is slightly larger than the stock one. Otherwise all good.
