This is the tail shaft bushing located in the tail shaft of your T5 transmission that supports your driveshaft yolk. This product will fit 1983-1995 Mustangs running a T-5 transmission. It is made from OE quality stamped steel and individually.
Fits great and no leaks, finally! Changed out the tail shaft bushing, driveshaft, and seal at the same time, which I recommend if you have a leaky seal. I changed just the seal a couple of times with no luck in stopping the leak, but once i did the bushing with the seal (and also a new driveshaft yoke) it seems to have fixed the leak! I already had the tail off the transmission to change the speedo drive gear, so it made it easier to change this bushing...but even then, without the proper puller tool, I had to cut the old one out and had a heck of a time pressing the new one in, but it works great once put in! Made the initial fit REALLY tight on the driveshaft yoke...had to really wiggle it in there, but it seems to have worn itself in.

cheap insurance to keep everything tight, while I had the tail-shaft off the trans for a speedo gear recalibration. Just used the old worn one to drive this new one in.
Had a problem with an order/quality issue. I put up a review stating so, and was contacted by Mike Linley, who was soooo nice and sooo professional, I almost felt bad about my review !! I felt the review was necessary because of bad welds/paint. Mike explained that they had a particular issue with that supplier and they had changed suppliers because of it. I must have mistakenly got an old set. (upper/lower Control arms-Foxbody). Mike asked a few questions, and was Sending me an updated replacement set while we were on the phone.!!! This is what I wish all Vendors would do; no arguments, no blame, no B.S. !! This is why LateModel stands out as an upstanding company, and backs up their products with AWESOME Customer service. Very rare in this day and age, and because of this I will be a customer for life, and will spread the good word ! Great to know some honest and Classy companies still operate in the good ol' USA. This is a 2.3L 4banger! There has been many exterior upgrades, new paint, cobra R rims, custom cut (length and width) hash marks and mustang rocker stripe. Engine upgrades are in the future for this ...
