1987-93 Mustang 5.0L Top End Engine Kit With Satin Ford Racing 93 Cobra Intake, Gt40x Heads And E303 Camshaft

Adding Horsepower to your 1987-1993 Ford Mustang can be a bit confusing. So we took a group of tried & true 5.0L Mustang Performance Parts & combined them together in this Top End Kit.

Starting out at the top, we selected the mainstay Ford Racing (FRPP) M-9424-Z51 93 Cobra Style Mustang Inatke Manifold with the satin finish. The Cobra intake offers an OE look with great performance. Premium Intake Gaskets are also included.

Moving on down, we added in the Ford Racing M-6049-X306 Mustang Cylinder Heads. The GT40 X Heads are basically an aluminum version of the 93-95 Cobra GT-40 heads, but with a Turbo-Swirl 64cc combustion chamber & 1.94"/1.54" valves. The X Heads accept the included Pedestal Mount Proform 66879 1.6 Ratio Mustang Roller Rocker Arms. FRPP M-6051-B51 Mustang Head Gaskets & ARP 154-3601 Mustang Head Bolts will keep the heads sealed to the short block. Cast Aluminum Mustang Valve Covers with quality Mustang Valve Cover Gaskets will keep the valvetrain covered. FRPP M-9448-B302 Mustang Header Gaskets will seal off the exhaust.

The camshaft we chose was the popular Ford Racing (FRPP) E303 5.0L Mustang Roller Cam. The venerable E Cam features 220° intake & exhaust duration @ .050" & .498" intake & exhaust valve lift with a 110° lobe separation angle. It's 1400 to 5200 RPM operating range make it a great fit for a 5.0L Mustang! A Comp Cams 2138 Mustang Timing Chain & a premium Timing Cover & Water Pump Gasket Set help finish up the installation.

Note - You will need to re-use your existing roller lifters, push rods, & rocker arm retaining channels or purchase new ones separately.
