I'm in the process of doing a 351w swap. I ordered the Ford motorsport 351w swap oil pan (Item# M6675A58). Will these motor mounts work with the stock k-member and sway bar on my 93 LX 5.0 without any other modifications? I also have a 2.5" cowl hood from Cervinis.

i just ordered these mounts because i have stock location solid mounts on my 351w swap with a upr k-member and i cant close my hood with an air cleaner on my carb. i have an edelbrock victor jr intake and performer rpm nitrous plate and a 4" cowl hood. with the drop these will give me i should have about 1/4" of clearance to close my hood. when i switch to a super victor i wont be able to run an air cleaner anymore.

While these will fit a 302, dropping the engine does present a few interference points. Such as the sway bar and the steering rack. Typically, lowering the sway bar and shortening the end links the same amount solves that issue, and using a set of offset rack bushings flipped upside down to push the rack down solves that one. However, shifting the rack downward causes bumpsteer issues, so long story short, solid mounts are best left for race applications.

The description of these mounts say they will clear the stock k member. I have already installed the 351w swap specific rear sump oil pan but the comments to other questions on the comment board here by actual staff members suggest otherwise. I was told in order for the exhaust to line up correctly you can only use the 351w swap mounts or use the 351w swap specific k member. You cannot use both. Many brands such as MAC and BBK make 351w swap headers and h pipes. I have purchased 351w swap exhaust already. If I use these specific mounts on my fox body. Will they clear the stock k member and allow the 351w swap headers and h pipe to line up? I did it this way cause i would prefer to keep my stock hood. If you had already bought the 351w swap exhaust what would you purchase the swap k member or the mounts?

There is no such thing as a 351W swap k-member. 5.0 and 5.8 both use the same k-member design.
These mounts will have no adverse effect on exhaust clearance or fitment. Even with these mounts, depending on your induction setup, the stock hood may not clear. K-member to frame spacers may also be required.

I ordered these mounts along with some prothane offset steering track bushings. Well the 5.8 fix swap oil pan clear with the prothane offset bushings? And will this be enough to clear an edelbrock performer rpm2 under my stock hood? My stabilizer bar has already been taken off the car so no worries there.

The oil pan shouldn't be a problem at all. As for hood clearance, there are too many variables associated with that to confirm if it will or not. Upper and lower intake manifold options play a large roll in determining that. I would hop on some of the fox mustang forums and see what other guys are running.

Are you currently running "drop" motor mounts? If so then I do not believe these will fix your issue. If you are running just solids then these will provide more clearance.
