We recommend breaking this crate engine in properly. Latemodelrestoration.com will not be held accountable for any damages that may occur due to improper break-in methods. Normal break in conditions consist of 500 miles at normal operating conditions.
We do not recommend running boost on this set up. Depending on the heads you will run the compression rate with the amount of boost you are wanting to run may be to much for this. This would be a great option for a N/A application.

For a high performance application that will have over 500 rear wheel horsepower you would need to build your combo based on an aftermarket performance block such as the Ford Racing Boss Block or Dart block. That power lever is exceeding the stock production blocks limits. It may last for a little while on a stock block but more than likely it will fail on you.
