I have a 5.0 L 1993 Mustang. Need to replace my belt tensioner.
First issue: The bolt holding the current tensioner in place is very tight. Do you know whether it is a standard threading (i.e. turn counter clockwise to loosen)?
Second issue: The original tensioner has a pulley with side flanges, where this product has what appears to be just a roller or wheel. Is that OK?

The bolt is a standard thread pattern, clockwise to tighten and counter clockwise to loosen. As other pulleys have the edge on them it would be fine for this not to have it. We have should several of these and have not had issues with them.
