If you hate the way your 2010 to 2012 factory headrests tilt forward and interfere with your head during normal driving, or especially when wearing a helmet, you need a set of these TMI adjustable headrests. They'll take you less than a minute to install for both sides by simply depressing the two release levers on each side. Slide your old headrest out and your new headrest in, and you now have an adjustable headrest with four different adjusting points. And you can pick yours up at latemodelrestoration.com.

The LateModelRestoration.com price for these is amazingly good, compared to its competition. Installation was fast and easy, as even I could do it without help, and I'm old. But my issues with these TMI headrests are minor. First of all, one of the headrests had glue or corrosion along the entire length of the metal rods. I have no idea what it was. After several attempts to remove it with water, alcohol, and WD40, I used steel wool and a mild solvent to clean them up. I didn't wish to pay return postage to (hopefully) get a replacement. That one sure missed quality control, if TMI has one. Another beef is that they are wider than the part of the seat back that they should match up with. So they are bigger and heavier than the dorky stock headrests. Finally, the grain of the vinyl is NOT as deep and authentic looking as my Mustang's seat material. The mechanisms seem to be okay, and for sure they make the seats in my 2011 Mustang Premium Coupe more comfortable. In spite of my gripes, I still recommend these TMI headrests. Thanks to LMR for a great price!
