So your key won't turn in the door, the lock knob won't push down, & nothing happens when you push the lock button? Well, it sounds like you need to replace that bunk door lock actuator!
There are a few ways to determine if your 94-98 Mustang's door lock actuator has stopped working. The first way is that the key still works in the door but nothing happens when you hit the unlock button. Or key won't even turn in the door, the door lock knob is frozen in the unlock position & nothing happens when you hit the switch.
Ford Motor Company Genuine Parts, Motorcraft® Parts and Ford and Motorcraft Remanufactured Parts are all excellent choices when it comes to performance, longevity and value for your Mustang or SVT Lightning. And they’re all backed by a Ford Motor Company limited parts warranty*, so you know their parts you use are going to perform like they should. Put the same parts on your Lighting & Mustang that came from the factory!
