This 1994-2004 Mustang window to body weatherstrip is located on the upper half of the door opening on the body of your SN-95 or New Edge and seals the door window to the body. It starts at the front upper door hinge, runs up the pillar, around the upper door glass, and back down the rear pillar. When these become worn out, you can hear more road noise, have water leaks, and have sagging weatherstrip hanging from your car. This kit includes 2 direct fit weatherstrips to get both sides replaced and keep your Mustang sealed up.
* Due to various production changes over the years, this weatherstrip may vary slightly in appearance from your original, but it will fit & function just the same.
I bought this set of weatherstripping to fix a gap between the window and the weather strip of my 1999 GT. The installation, not having worked on a Mustang before, was not very obvious at first but managed to get the right side installed. The corner does not line up right with the pin by several CM. The original gap I was trying to fix is better but now there is a gap at the bottom of the window at the rear of the door. All the pins are in correctly but there is still a gap. Not sure what to do about it. Still wind noise from that side of the vehicle, just not as bad.
Overall a decent fit and quality product, just not as good as I expected.
Yes, I would recommend this item to a friend!

Reduces road noise, but...

Reduces road noise, but no matter how much adjustment is made, there remains a gap on the passenger side upright at the rear of the window which allows a significant amount of air/water to enter the car. Overall though, a tremendous improve from the factory installed original wether stripping that was cracked and dry rotted.
Working in a customer service oriented job I can truly appreciate minute by minute notifications and incredible customer service. I am building my seventh fox and have dealt with every known distributor on the planet and LMR is by far the most efficient and thorough company I have dealt with.(twisted wedge top end kit and supporting equipment project starting this week)
