I recently put a new speedometer cable, speed sensor, & speedometer gear in my 92 GT. when i bought the car the speedo was inop. On a closer look the speedo gear was destroyed I was not able to accurately count the teeth on the gear. So i got a new based on the color of the old one. The speedo works but is off by about 25 mph (65 but only doing 40) so which way should I go for the correct gear? more teeth or less teeth? thanks

We have a handy too for you to use to find out what gear you are going to need. Fill this out and it will give you the gear count (23 tooth, 21 tooth) etc...
