So, my speedo gear is rounded out probably cause the speed sensor is shot too. ive got the speed sensor in my cart, and need to get the gear too. So my problem is when I looked at the gear yesterday while I was under the car I saw a 16 on it and it was red. Does the number mean anything or do I need to get back under the car and count the teeth?

The calculator can be used for any speedometer style; whether it is an 85, 140, or 160 MPH unit. It is used to determine which driven and drive gears are required to make the speedometer read accurately based on wheel and tire size and gearing.
