2001 Style Bullitt Wheel for Your 1994-04 Mustang
The movie Bullitt featured a 1968 highland green Mustang fastback which inspired multiple reincarnations by Ford. Now you can get the classic styling of the Bullitt on your Mustang with this Bullitt style wheel which features a "Deep Dish" lip.
Bullitt Wheel Info
This 18x10 Mustang Bullitt wheel features an anthracite gray finish with a machined outer lip for long lasting great looks! This Bullitt wheel is a direct bolt on part for your 1999-2004 Ford Mustang. Some 1994-98 Mustangs may require rotating of the quad shock if the rear end is not centered.
Deep Dish Mustang Wheels
From the factory your Ford Mustang was equipped with the same size wheels on both the front and back. This is great for regular consumers because it makes tire rotation a snap. Many enthusiasts choose to put a deep dish wheel, often 10" wide or wider, on the rear of their Mustang while running a more narrow, standard lip wheel on the front. Most Mustang enthusiasts call this the "staggered" look.
Why Deep Dish Wheels?
Mustang owners usually install deep dish wheels for two reasons. The first is that it allows the owner to install a wider tire in the rear which will offer more traction, usually for drag racing. The second reason is just for looks, wider tires in the rear will make your Mustang look more muscular and the dished lip on the wheel looks better and matches the body lines on the Mustang closer than a standard lip wheel, especially on later model Mustangs.
- Accepts factory center cap
- Center cap may differ from one shown in picture
I have a 2002 Mineral Gray GT that came stock with anthracite bullitts. Compared to the factory these are more of a gray than a gun metal anthracite. A side from that, these are sweet! Statically balanced easily. They add great looks. The car looks a heck of a lot meaner now!!

Bought these after trying to save some money else where. That was a total flop. Great CS as always from LMR.

The wheel size is the diameter of the wheel, in inches, not counting the tire.
Modern tires in North America have several other measurements associated with their size.
A tire designated as a "225/70R14" denotes a tire with the following dimensions: width of tread: 225 mm; ratio of tire height to width: 70 percent; rim diameter: 14".
Therefore a 185/70R14 has the same rim diameter and aspect ratio, but a smaller overall diameter and narrower tread face than the 225/70R14.
The easiest way to measure backspace is to lay the wheel face down onto the ground so the backside of the wheel is facing up.
Take a straight edge and lay it diagonally across the inboard flange of the wheel. Take a tape measure and measure the distance from where the straight edge contacts the inboard flange to the hub mounting pad of the wheel. This measurement is the backspace.
The photo below shows three wheels with 2", 3", & 4" backspace.
Wheel Bolt Circle
The bolt pattern or bolt circle is the diameter of an imaginary circle formed by the centers of the wheel lugs. Bolt patterns can be 4, 5, 6, or 8 lug holes. A bolt circle of 4x100 would indicate a 4 lug pattern on a circle with a diameter of 100mm.
The diagram indicates the proper measuring methods. 6 lug wheels are measured like the 4 lug wheels.
The offset, measured in millimeters, can be negative or positive, and is the distance from the hub-mounting surface to the rim's true centerline. A positive offset means the hub-mounting surface is closer to the outside edge of the wheel; a negative offset means the hub-mounting surface is closer to the inside edge of the wheel. Offset affects the scrub radius of the steering and it is advisable to stay within the limits allowed by the vehicle manufacturer. If tires are fitted which are significantly wider than those specified by the manufacturer, a compromise may have to be adopted whereby a wheel with less offset is used to prevent the tire rubbing on the suspension.
Wheel Lug Pattern
Wheel lugs or bolt pattern is merely the number of bolts or lugs on the wheel. As the bolts will be evenly spaced, the number determines the bolt pattern. For example, most U.S. passenger cars have 5 bolts while compact models sometimes have only 4 and pick-up trucks can have as many as 6 or 8.
Had a problem with an order/quality issue. I put up a review stating so, and was contacted by Mike Linley, who was soooo nice and sooo professional, I almost felt bad about my review !! I felt the review was necessary because of bad welds/paint. Mike explained that they had a particular issue with that supplier and they had changed suppliers because of it. I must have mistakenly got an old set. (upper/lower Control arms-Foxbody). Mike asked a few questions, and was Sending me an updated replacement set while we were on the phone.!!! This is what I wish all Vendors would do; no arguments, no blame, no B.S. !! This is why LateModel stands out as an upstanding company, and backs up their products with AWESOME Customer service.
