  Wonderful product

I bought this product hoping to help gas mileage and add a little more power to my truck and i got exactly what I wanted!!! Installation was relatively easy but the instructions they provide become confusing towards the end. Even so, the build and install came out very clean on the vehicle and they provide enough wire to make it easy to conceal.
Little hiccups I ran into that were in no way the products fault:
Old fan removal: I didn't have a fan clutch removal wrench at first, all I had to do was rent one and twist the fan to the right and it popped right off.

Bolting on fan: the brackets connecting the fan to the radiator are a pain to install on the lower two. It's possible but it'll take a while if you'd like to run by the instructions. Disconnecting the upper radiator house would allow you to connect the brackets to the fan and slide it in a little easier than the latter option.

Adjusting fan: the area they tell you to put the control box makes it difficult to adjust due to the blower being in the way, you cannot see the screw and you'll need a short screwdriver to not hit the pulley belt. This is a minor nuisance but other than it works wonderful.

Overall, I love the product and its a great way to help your truck run with a little more power and less strain on the engine.

P.S: I've sat in stop and go traffic for over an hour in the desert at 100+ degrees and the fan was still able to keep the temperature within the 180 degree parameters, so you don't have to worry about it not working as effective as the old fan. Plus it's SOOOOOO much quieter.

One of the best items I've installed on my truck. Not only did it improve my performance on my already mod-ed truck, it got me a 2 mpg improvement, and cleaned up my engine bay.

About This Brand

Flex a Lite
Founded in 1962, Flex-a-lite was started by Eddy Davis when he created the first flexible fan out of hand-cut fiberglass roofing material. The flex fan concept was a lightweight fan that would flatten out at high RPMs and reduce engine load for more horsepower to the wheels. In 1978 they patented their first electric fan which helped transform the business. Today, Flex-a-lite manufactures a full range of belt-driven fans, electric fans, transmission and oil coolers.
