Adding a Barton short throw shifter to your 2010-2014 Shelby GT500 is a great way to get better performance on and off the track. This shifter is a complete direct replacement shifter for 10-14 GT500 Mustangs and is designed to reduce the amount of throw between shifts by up to 35%. Made for use with factory knob and boot. Featuring firm centering springs, you get a perfect 2-3 shift every time. Easy installation with no permanent modifications to your car.

This Mustang short throw shifter is machined from 6061 T6 billet aluminum and 304 stainless steel to give you a high quality and durable shifter. It is outfitted with harder durometer polyurethane bushings to eliminate the mushy deflection that the S197 Mustangs are known for. Made in the USA!
To use the BARTON flat stick on the 2010-2014 GT500, the factory shift boot must be cut, OR you can order the ROUSH shift boot P/N 420033. The BARTON flat stick has a M12x1.25 thread.
