It has always been common practice to reinforce Ford's 8.8" rearend with a stronger, cast rear cover. Unfortunately, with the 2005-14 models, the panhard rod prevents this. BMR has an easy solution. Their relocation bracket moves the drivers side of the panhard rod to the back of the OE mount, providing 1" of additional clearance. Installation is simple and rear end geometry remains unaffected.
I completely re-did the suspension on my '14 GT and being that I was going with a 2.4" drop in the rear, I was concerned about my panhard bar clearing everything. This bracket is low priced, easy to install, and provided more clearance. Definitely a must have at this price point.
Yes, I would recommend this item to a friend!
