Ford did a great job designing the 11-14 Mustang. Everything comes apart so easily, it almost seems like it was designed by racers. To some, a tubular K-member may seem like a complicated and difficult installation, however in the '11-14 Mustang it can be done in 2 hours with hand tools!
BMR's tubular K-member uses an integrated mount system, saving up to 5 lbs. over the competitions' designs. The OE K-member with motor mounts weighs 44 lbs. while the integrated design weighs only 24 lbs., a 20 lb. weight reduction. Designed to be used with BMR or factory A-arms and spindles. Fits V6 and V8 models.
NOTE: BMR K-member replaces the heavy OE hydraulic motor mounts with high durometer polyurethane bushings resulting in increased noise transmission into the body. These bushings are designed for minimal flex and are identical in size and durometer to what is used in Prothane and Steeda's billet motor mounts (the only difference is that they are integrated into the K-member design) It is important to note that decreased motor movement from stiffer motor mounts will create additional noise and vibration into the body.
E-commerce in today's world is all about the customer experience, period. Take it from a guy who works in this space for a very large retailer currently on the IT Supply Chain side. Every time I order from LateModel I'm always impress at how quickly they process orders. For those that work in this field in always challenging as volumes shift. Thanks for making my project a reality......
