Keep the rear suspension planted on your 2005-2014 Mustang with a set of BMR Billet Rear Control Arms from LatemodelRestoration.com. Stock Mustang control arms are marginal at best. Bushing deflection combined with control arm flex creates erratic handling and inconsistent rear end stability when subjected to the added loads of performance driving.
BMR heavy duty billet Control Arms are CNC machined from solid 1.25" x 2.5" billet 6061 T6 aluminum alloy. BMR utilizes greaseable 90 durometer spiral fluted polyurethane bushings to insure "squeak-free' suspension movement. Additiionally, our control arms retain the factory designed rear offset, a necessity others overlook resulting in split, binding bushings.
I decided to go with these because I really like the Billet Aluminum products. Yes, they're pretty pricey when you can get the same results from the cheaper boxed version but the quality and feel of these LCA's are amazing. You really feel like you're getting your money's worth.
Install was easy, I did it with a set of ramps. One at a time and I had no issues. The zerk fittings make re-greasing super easy and they are the only set of Billet LCA's with the zerk fittings.
Wheel hop is now nonexistent. Whenever I drove it in the rain it would spin the tires and it would start hopping, but now after the install spun the tires and absolutely no hop. Awesome!!!!
BMR fabrication is one of the top manufactures of Mustang suspension components that both improve performance and increase traction. With a full line of control arms, panhard bars, shock tower braces, k-members, anti-roll bar kits, and drive shaft safety loops, you can have your muscle car handling better than ever. All BMR components are engineered to fit with precision, hold up to the extreme demands of racing, and give you the edge over your competition!
