For Coilovers, it is best to run something that has a spherical bearing rather than the bushings like these. Depending on what year you have, we recommend MM-MMCC7989 for 79-89 cars, and MM-MMCC9093 for 90-93 cars. These work very well with coilovers and are plenty strong.

My stock hood closes fine over it. When you install them, and your first time closing the hood over them. Put some plumbers puddy on the top of these and close slowly; checking for contact. It should contact your ball or lump of puddy. However, you don't wsnt it to contact thru the entire ball or lump.

Upon tearing the entire front end off of my mustang, I happened to lose the factory underside bracket. The one with the three bolts popping through the top and it mounts the top of the strut. I found the actual OEM plate that goes on top. Do these get rid of the factory bracket I lost? Or is this just a "cap" that goes on too of the factory strut tower and bolts to the 3 stock bolts that already come through the top of the strut tower. THANKS!!!

These BBK camber-caster plates do away with the factory bracket you lost. They should be all you need to purchase to put your strut mount assembly back together, plus, they allow for both camber and caster adjustment.
