This part is 50-state legal - CARB E.O. #: D-245-14
Designed to work in most cases without modifications or any tune, this BBK cold air kit works with the factory computer – BBK's latest cold air intake kits for the popular 2005-2009 Ford Mustang delivers as much bang for the buck as a BBK 2005-2009 throttle body. Testing on dozens of stock 2005-2009 Ford Mustang GT models has shown consistent gains of 15-16 rear wheel horsepower with no other add-ons and the stock computer program. This compares to the 8-9 horsepower BBK engineers noted with other brand units and a power programmer.
This high level of performance with the stock program is achieved by utilizing a custom integral mass air housing which is machined into BBK's new aluminum casting and features a calibration of the factory Mustang mass air. While BBK engineers have seen some gains with a power programmer when used with a variety of modifications – they have not been able to achieve much more than what this cold air intake kit delivers.
Each BBK Cold Air Intake model has been designed and dyno tested at the BBK headquarters in Southern California to maximize performance.
This BBK 17361 does not require an aftermarket tune. Note
- Throttle body not included

LMR is a great company with great products. I recently purchased the Gibson Catback exhaust for my 2015 Mustang Ecoboost and I love it. Easy to install, great looking tips, and best of all almost half the price than competitors systems. My main reason I decided to go with Gibson was because off the reputation and because I think after searching all the exhaust systems, their exhaust system is probably the best sounding one. No raspyNess what so ever you expect from a 4 cylinder exhaust system. It's a nice low, deep tone.
